Terminal #1 is leased to and operated by Brunswick Mining and Smelting (a division of Glencore). It is equipped with a reversible conveyor and a ship loader for dry bulk cargo.


Terminal #2 is used to discharge coal for NB Power’s supply in Belledune. It is equipped with a continuous ship unloader (CSU). An enclosed conveyor transfers coal from the wharf to a storage dome at the generating station. The CSU and conveyor are owned and operated by NB Power.


The M.D.Young Mixed Cargo Terminal (Terminal #3) is leased and operated by Eastern Canada Stevedoring, and handles bulk and general cargo. It includes a 6500-square metre storage shed, a 4225-square metre bulk warehouse and a 6.5-hectare paved storage yard. Cargo is handled by a variety of mobile equipment.


Highway and Rail Connections

The port is served by the CN, with trackage extending to the dock face at the M.D. Young Terminal. The port is accessible by Route 134, with a close connection to Route 11, 8 and 17.
